The Basin Burnout
The Permian Basin Association of Directional Drilling (PBADD) is planning our third annual Permian Basin Community event “The Basin Burnout” Amateur BBQ Cook-off Competition and Music Festival. This event will be held at the Permian Basin Petroleum Museum in Midland, Texas on September 22nd, 2018. There will be plenty of fun for the entire family which includes: great food from competition level BBQ pit masters, live country music featuring some of the Permian’s favorite artists, kids activities from bounce houses to face painting and several auction and raffle items to support our local heroes. We are excited to have Reel Thanx and Show of Support, Hunt for Heroes back again to raise awareness and financial support for our wounded veterans. We are also proud to add the Permian Basin Petroleum Museum as the other recipient of your support. REEL THANX honor’s our soldiers for their patriotism, bravery and love of country by getting them back to nature by taking them fishing so they can focus on what they can do, not what they no longer can. Show of Support Military Hunt – “Hunt for Heroes” honor’s America's wounded veterans by demonstrating public support for the men and women of our military by providing outdoor hunting adventures to those men and women who have been injured in service to our country. Permian Basin Petroleum Museum is the nation’s largest museum dedicated to the petroleum industry and its pioneers. It shares the petroleum and energy story and its impact on our daily lives through educational programs, interactive exhibits, an archives center and its Petroleum Hall of Fame. Tickets include BBQ, Food and live performances by Brian Milson, Kyle Park, The Stateline Band and Plan B.
