This is the inaugural Midland Chamber of Commerce State of Oil & Gas Luncheon. The discussion will feature select oil & gas experts to speak to the current and prospective state of oil & gas as it relates to our world, our nation and our state, but more specifically, our community.

The goal of the event is for attendees to walk away with information they can use to make decisions about their own business, whether directly or indirectly impacted by Oil & Gas

Tickets are $40 for members, and $60 for non-members.

Jenness N Friends

It’s Time...brings Jenness Rouse and friends from powerhouse rock cover band Current Nine and classical duo Sonates en Duo together for an evening to benefit The Life Center! Join them on a musical journey
from Celtic to Classical, Broadway show tunes to jazz and pop — with a surprise or two along the way! West Texas native Jenness Rouse is an award-winning film producer, writer, actor and singer currently
based in Los Angeles. Jenness produced and starred in a summer concert series in L.A. this year with saxophone artist Willy Ekoué and his harpist wife Maïwen, who form Sonates en Duo. This event will mark their first appearance in Texas. David Corman will take the stage in a spectacular finale number.

Be an event underwriter by sponsoring a table at the pre-event dinner! Sponsors receive 8 reserved concert seats, dinner and a special viewing of the award winning pilot, “Becca on Call” written/directed by Jenness Rouse. The 3rd annual State of Downtown Odessa Address will be held on Thursday, February 22, from 6pm to 8pm at The Rose Building. This event celebrates the successes and plans of downtown Odessa and honors downtown businesses and individuals. Guests will enjoy beer and wine, a plated dinner, presentations and updates from special guests, and an awards presentation.

Tables and tickets are on sale now! The Early Bird Special for tickets is $100 and ends 2/8/18. Tickets after this date will be $125.

Students from all 28 ECISD elementary campuses will compete in the "Battle of the Bluebonnets", a literacy event. 

These students (grades 3-5) have explored a variety of culturally diverse literature by reading the Texas Bluebonnet Award titles and will now test their content knowledge in game-show-type setting. 

Come out to support these students and their achievements.

The Ellen Noël Art Museum of the Permian Basin is hosting its 32nd annual Shrimpfest. This even serves as the Museum's largest and most successful fundraiser of the year with more than 1,200 people expected to attend. 

Guests are treated to unlimited Cajun shrimp, New Orleans style music and many opportunities to bid on a variety of unique items including pieces from local artists.

The Sewell Leadership Event is one of a kind event which brings together over 1,600 of the Permian Basin's top business owners, professionals, students, and other individuals as they listen to some of the most prominent minds in leadership.
Hosted by the Sewell Family of Companies, the event is tailored each year to address the current climate of West Texas. Due to growth in attendance, the location of the conference has recently relocated to the Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center to accommodate even more West Texans from Midland, Odessa, and the surrounding cities.
